Costume Payments

Final costume payments are due by Thursday, February 6th.  A statement will be sent via email with your dancer’s total due. If payment is not received by February 6, your card on file will be charged Friday, February 7 for the balance unless prior arrangements have been made with Miss Cindy..

Disney Character Week

Monday, February 10th- Saturday, February 15th, you can dress up as your favorite Disney character! You must pay $2 to dress up.  All proceeds go to the YWCA School of Dance Scholarship fund.

Shoe and Dance Clothes Orders

If your dancer needs new shoes, tights or leos, we will be placing an order the end of January. You will need to pay for everything up front so that the order can be placed, or you can purchase item through our online store at www.shopnimbly.com/ywcaschoolofdance

Welcome Back

Dance classes resume Monday, January 6. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season! Now that dance is starting back up, we are counting down...18 classes to Viva Las Vegas Recital!

Choreography

When classes start back up, we will begin working on choreography for our dances.  You will all receive an email with a link from my Dropbox Account with each specific dance’s song.  Be sure to download the link to your computer!!! It will expire in 30 days. 

Please don’t worry if the dancers don’t remember everything tonight!  They will begin to remember as the weeks go by.  Please encourage the dancers to practice and to show you what they are learning.  Every 2-3 weeks we will send a link from Dropbox via email with clips of the dance for them to practice with.

Adult Dance

Session 2 | Clogging January 16-April 9 *No class March 19 due to spring break

Classes will be held Thursdays from 8:00-8:45 pm The Cost is $65/session

Mom and Daughter Prom

Our 2nd Annual Mother-Daughter prom will be taking place on, Saturday February 1 at the YWCA. This year the theme will be 80’s. Come dressed in your best 80’s attire!

3-7 year olds will be from 6:00-7:30 pm and 8 year olds and up will be from 8:00-10:00.

Get all dressed up and dance the evening away! Drinks and snacks will be provided!

Pre-Registration | $25 for mom and 1 daughter, $5 for additional children.
At the Door | $35 for mom and 1 daughter, $8 for additional children

A Note from the Instructor…

I will need volunteers for the dress rehearsals and recitals.  I STRONGLY suggest that parents of dancers with younger children that volunteer to help, you do so at the Main Show so that you won’t miss your dancers dance!  Also, I would appreciate parents that have dancers dancing 2 nights be willing to volunteer for one of the shows.  Please watch your emails for our Google Docs sign up sheet.  That will start making the rounds by the end of February.  Thank you!
