Final costume payments are due on Thursday, February 6th! If you have not made your payment by the 6th, your card on file will be charged on Friday, February 7th unless prior arrangements have been made with Cindy.

Disney Character Week
Monday, February 10 - Saturday, February 15, you can dress up as your favorite Disney character!
You must pay $2 to dress up. All proceeds go to the YWCA School of Dance Scholarship fund.

Mom and Daughter Prom
Our 2nd Annual Mother-Daughter prom will be taking place on, Saturday February 1 at the YWCA. This year the theme will be 80’s. Come dressed in your best 80’s attire!
3-7 year olds will be from 6:00-7:30 pm and 8 year olds and up will be from 8:00-10:00.
Get all dressed up and dance the evening away! Drinks and snacks will be provided!
Pre-Registration | $25 for mom and 1 daughter, $5 for additional children.
At the Door | $35 for mom and 1 daughter, $8 for additional children
You can register through your Parent Portal under “Events”!

Gowns for Good
Looking for an affordable prom dress? Find fabulous dresses at reasonable prices at the YWCA.

Seamstress Krystal available for alterations, small fixes, and adding bling for a reasonable charge
Bigger, better and ready to rock prom! The YWCA wants to help you give back, get back. Donate or consign your gently used, recent prom dresses. Then, find fabulous gowns at reasonable prices while shopping at Gowns for Goods! What a great way to donate, make money, shop, or volunteer! Shop in our new location, try on dresses of all sizes, colors, and styles, with a seamstress on hand to make it the gown of your dreams!
All donated dresses are $30 and consignment prices are decided by seller PLUS $30 charge, with the proceeds going to support YWCA youth programs. Consignment shoppers have special early shopping times, consignments will only be accepted during specified consignment times.

I will need volunteers for the dress rehearsals and recitals. I STRONGLY suggest that parents of dancers with younger children that volunteer to help, you do so at the Main Show so that you won’t miss your dancers dance! Also, I would appreciate parents that have dancers dancing 2 nights be willing to volunteer for one of the shows. Please watch your emails for our Google Docs sign up sheet. That will start making the rounds by the end of February. Thank you!
